MHM is a tax exempt 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation. We will provide a giving statement at the end of each calendar year for your tax records.

One of our core values at Milk & Honey Missions is to be good stewards of the financial resources you entrust to us.  We execute this mission in three very tangible ways.  First, 100% of your contributions fund programs in Central America!  We do not have any paid staff and all overhead expenses are paid in full by your board of directors.  Rest assured that each dollar you trust to us will be put to work helping people in need.    Second, we are committed to funding initiatives that can be sustained for the long term.  We carefully evaluate our programs for long term need, staffing and financial viability before we undertake them.  We ask our partners to run small scale “pilot projects” to reveal unexpected hurdles and needs before we commit to funding an initiative.  Finally, since our inception, we have set aside ten percent of your undesignated donations into a separate contingency fund.  This fund gives us a financial cushion to respond to unforeseen setbacks or opportunities.
