Emily Peterson
Emily was born in the Twin Cities but grew up in southern Minnesota, graduating from Albert Lea Senior High. She went on to earn her BA from Bethel College (now Bethel University) in Arden Hills, MN. After graduation she met her husband Brian. They have built a beautiful family in Woodbury, MN with their three children: Natalie, Nicholas and Alaina . While her full-time job is her family, she manages to squeeze in part time work helping schools with their social media platforms.
Emily took her first trip to Honduras with her church, King of Kings Lutheran Church in Woodbury, in January of 2016. It was a special trip that she enjoyed with her oldest daughter Natalie, and they both fell in love with the country and the people. That led to several consecutive trips, and the urge to do more. Milk and Honey Missions was a natural choice. Their values and passion to make a difference are inspiring and Emily can’t wait to see what they can accomplish together!
