Due to age and a recent lack of rainfall the well in the small community of El Varillial had gone dry. The community was walking to a nearby stream to carry unclean water by the bucket for use in their homes. Recently, Milk & Honey was able to assist the community with a new well and electric pump to furnish water. The community formed a water board to maintain and administer the well and is currently exploring options for a holding tank.
